IIT JEE advanced result expected date : The JEE Advanced Result 2017 will be announced on June 11, 2017 (10 am). Once announced, the student will be able to check it from official website of the government www.jeeadv.ac.in.
The IIT JEE Advanced results 2017 will be declared tomorrow. Those students who took the IIT JEE Advanced 2017 exam may get 11 bonus marks for three ambiguous questions. This would be applicable to all candidates who took the examination on May 21. The decision to award 11 bonus marks for the three ambiguous questions was taken following an internal review meet on the question papers by IIT experts. 2 questions from Mathematics and 1 question from Physics section were found to be ambiguous. In two other questions from Physics and Chemistry, marks will be awarded for any of the 2 answers.

JEE Advanced 2017 Tie Breaking Mechanism
It happens a lot of times that the rank to be allocated to the candidates clashes. Such will happen when the aggregate marks scored by two or more candidates will be the same. To resolve this issue the following tie-breaking mechanism will be followed:
- Candidates with the higher marks in Mathematics will be score higher rank.
- If the issues still prevails, then the marks of Physics will be considered. Candidates with higher marks in Physics will be allocated higher rank.
- If even these two ways cannot break the tie, then the same rank will be allocated to the candidates.
